Which VPN are you using? What's the pricing?

Hi guys

I am looking to get a VPN to use for gaming, streaming region-locked stuff etc. Just wanted to know if you can suggest any.

If you are using a VPN for gaming. What ping do you get for gaming? Which games do you play? Please drop your stats and advice

I can’t speak personally for gaming as I have seen the latency and ping increase with a simple Speed Test so I therefore don’t use it for gaming simply for streaming region locked stuff and just the day to day browsing.

I use Nord VPN. Current pricing is $99 for two years (There are always discounts and specials on the site). I started using is 3 years ago, at that time is was $99 Dollars for 3 years with a 15% discount if you paid for the entire 3 Years upfront.

I don’t regret the purchase as I have been streaming US Netflix ever since. I currently do not use the VPN on my router directly as I am currently working from home so this does mess with my work VPN.

Nord has done away with L2TP as this was the least secure VPN access so your best bet is To use the IKeV2 if you are signing up with them or simply download the app. The app works perfectly with no issues. I use it daily on my iPad and see no lag in streaming or web surfing.

Personally I can’t see how a VPN can help with gaming but if you do find a way I would like to know, those European servers can be a pain with the Ping in games like Warzone and Rocket League.

My opinion is quite biased as I have only used NordVPN. I used a freinds ExpressVPN log in but that was just to run a few tests on the streaming side.

Recommendation for streaming foreign content. Looking at NordVPN, ExpressVPN and maybe IPVanish as those all have native apps for the Amazon Fire TV Stick. They're a bit pricey though...

I 2nd Windscribe. Only use it to access the US/UK Netflix libraries and it works well for streaming purposes

No don't game anymore but there's split tunneling. Just exclude whatever game you want to from the vpn tunnel.
