Three ships bourbon cask finish.

The last of it. Nice way to dip your toes into bourbon flavours.

That's not bad at all. Have to do it on the rocks though.

Tried and enjoyed Red Breast at the last Whisky Live.

Monkey Shoulder is becoming harder to find nowadays. Even though it's shot up R100 to R389 recently.

Seen it around but definitely noticed the price increase. Sadly.

Try the cask strength if you can, got the 2013 batch at 59.9% alcohol, very tasty.

If you're in Cape Town and can collect then aficionados certainly has better prices than marko and pnp on a couple of whiskies.

Strong is laphroaig quarter cask or a lagavulin 16.

A snifter works just as well for whisky as for brandy.

It just so happened that I added a pair of these to my aficionados order today.

I think they are a bit of a gimmick. I got a metal set and they end up rolling down the glass towards your mouth when you drink and make a bit of a racket.

I tried those rocks and they roll down towards your mouth when you drink, don't like that feeling of rock hitting against your teeth
I tend to do this instead.
