About a month ago, 15 May to be specific. There were other stuff at good prices as well that I've previously posted in this thread.

I started drinking whisky by filling a beer glasses with ice and then topping it up with whisky. Now I drink it neat, sometimes with a bit of water. My point is, it's your whisky and u can drink it however you please.

It was posted with toungue squarely in cheek. The dude rinses his glass with whisky. Crazy stuff. Can't take that seriously

Richard Paterson does that quite often, even with some of the rarer malts, really sad.

Agree. Complete waste. I much prefer Ralfys more down to earth approach. Learnt a few things from watching his videos.

I went through a new type Black Bottle a week or two back and it was also very nice. I'd love to get my hands on the old one to try and compare.

Bugger, probably gone by now

It's been in the shelves since Jan when I went there for the first time so most likely still there. It's a small non-franchise liquor store, the unusual stuff does not move fast.

Also, Jim Beam also set a good price.

Also went through one a couple of weeks ago. For me it was very smokey but being relatively new to whiskey I cant really compare it with much else but I enjoyed it and so did the father in law.

I think I saw aficionados still have stock of the old blend and would also love to try some. I have been to most liquor shops in my area and nobody stocks the old blend anymore.

Isn't direct sunlight going to be bad for the longevity of your whisky (depending on how quickly you drink)?

we marked the lowest point that gets direct sunlight and positioned accordingly.

although the lowest point will only be on June 21st, but I can just move some bottles around in winter.
