Well, I work as a Rock Mechanics Engineer, the person who is responsible for designing a mine to make sure it does not collapse. I know my fellow "engineers" who do not even have a matric certificate and yes, they got everything for nothing. Why were they given preferential jobs? Today, mining requires special thinking and most of these people are struggling at their jobs because they shouldn't have been appointed in the first place. I'm simply stating my observations, not my thinking.

I designed and developed a seismic monitoring and recording system in 1979 that possibly you have used to do your job. The system worked until 1998, to be replaced by better hardware, as the old HP1000 was not supportable on hardware. I worked up to 36 hours a time to ensure the data that gets gathered is of the quality to use. Even Hewlett Packard requesting info how I managed to change their interface software to actually do the work. Now don’t tell me we don’t have skills that are not worth using. It possibly saved you’re live and may more. This project was only 4 months out of my IT career that spans over 30 years.

Are you a shift boss, uneducated, getting positions that you did not deserve?

I've been using the ISS and CSIR minewide systems, intergrated them into numerical modelling (MAP3D, MAP3Di, MINSIM etc) to predict future seismic risk due to mining (near faults, shaft pillar, remnants etc).

Which one have you designed that can help us predict events so that we can evacuate people on time, and save lives? This would be very useful you know!

Point is, the statement that White People work twice as hard is totally nonsense. Many black students had to work twice as hard to overcome a system at University that was pushing white students to pass. Even my favourite Nazi lecturer told us that as Blacks, we did not deserve to be Engineers. So, don't give me stories that White people word harder. THAT IS NONSENSE.

It's actually quite funny how some people will defend their party to the death, despite ample evidence that it is rotten to the core.

most government officials (no matter what colour, party) are dodgy in someway (in this country at least).
take a look at "KortBroek", most of the dutchmen supported him, then he turned on his supporters and joined the ANC.
Patricia (tjei Patricia) tried a few skelm moves in the Western Cape with the ANC (even though it backfired) .
The level of dodginess just depends on how much moeny is flashed in their faces.
