I am really tired of explaining this - the people are the same - but due to the lack of opportunities for blacks under the Apartheid system - they are not economically equal as the preamble to the Employment Equity Act so eloquently states

as a result of apartheid and other discriminatory laws and practices, there are disparities in employment, occupation and income within the national labour market; and

that those disparities create such pronounced disadvantages for certain categories of people that they cannot be redressed simply by repealing discriminatory laws,

Therefore, in order to--

promote the constitutional right of equality and the exercise of true democracy;

eliminate unfair discrimination in employment;

ensure the implementation of employment equity to redress the effects of discrimination;

achieve a diverse workforce broadly representative of our people;

promote economic development and efficiency in the workforce; and

give effect to the obligations of the Republic as a member of the International Labour Organisation,

the problem is that you would have liked to see the status quo ( in terms of jobs ) remain the same even after democracy, with jobs going mainly to whites - the cushiness of the past for the white man is over - or is it that whites are afraid to compete for jobs - that is the problem ( you had it too easy in the past )

Your stupidy defies logic, spite your face by cutting your nose logic. There could have been many more better ways of dealing with the problem by incentive systems. Currently we are mostly excluded BY LAWunless it suits your cronies, ( like the hiring back of security members,cos the MEC is to weak to do his job and so are the employed people.)

The incentives are there already, i.e. governemnt tenders.

herein lies the problem, you say it should have been done through an incentive system, now would that work - I think not, as this post clearly shows that there are companies that despite the Employment Equity Act being a law - still refuse to comply -

now while I have to sympathise with the many on this forum who are incapable of independent thinking ( mainly due to Apartheid era education and indoctrination ) I will ask you to sit and think about this for a while before responding ( I understand that thinking might be difficult for you, just try ) I also appeal to you to try and understand what I am saying before going off all half-cocked attacking my logic with no logical basis -

For those of you who still need to go ask onnie of oom of oupa of ouma to explain this to you, relax tune into channel 35 on DSTV I am sure there is a rerun of Liewe Heksie or Wielie Walie on - julle kan maar lekker saamsing maatjies :D

Typical of you to cite that TV programs as that is a valuable stage of growing up that you must have missed due to Apartheid and as such are disadvantaged. So you could never feel whole as you missed the importent steps required to do so in life. Now that you are not disadvantaged anymore that means at least you could reenact or now follow that important stage you missed and become whole so you can grow up. Oh I forgot, you are already watching the show, that's why you know about it. Just one point, you need to have the mentality and IQ too. It does not seem so from your posts so maybe it will work for your offspring. For your sake I hope so. :D

You are contradicting yourself again. You say we are all the same - "no difference" - yet you now start by distinguishing between people by race. Replace ALL the above references to white/black with "South African" and what are you left with?

Thats why I do not support these goons you are happy with and defend with your life. For the exact same reasons. Rotten communistic ideology and reversed Apartheid in law with the added benefit of major corruption and fraud to the highest levels. Maybe you are even part of it and are a beneficiary of all this corruption!

I hope you're including every South African in this. Would you say the indoctrination affected you, and is it still happening now??
 
last time I checked we were living in a democracy with a capitalistic economy, and the preamble to the constitution clearly states " South Africa belongs to all who live in it " - all who live in it - not only the whites, who now feel disadvantaged because they are equal

The Apartheid Government tried to indoctrinate all South Africans, luckily for myself and many others, groups like SASCO, LAYCO, the UDF, ANC, TIC, NIC, and others, taught us the truth, and made it possible for us to have independent thinking abilities

You see while you were sitting at Voortrekkers or doing your Cadette Parades ( Youth Preparedness), we were learning to think

I see no logic whatsoever in your argument, the use of race is of paramount importance to understanding the reason for the legislation - If the Apartheid government mistreated all South Africans, then yes I would agree the term South African could be used instead of race - but that is not what happened - please try to understand - I have tried to explaion this concept as simply as i can for you

Ahh Now suddenly you admit race is the issue and we are nor deemed equal as you pointed out in the contrary already. What education you had (stole) I mean you already stated the terrorists taught you to "think"
