Why should I vote ANC?

Sox i don't agree with you. Some may vote ANC because they have read and understand their policies and want to ensure those policies are fufilled. While others just vote because: "ANC promised me a house and electricity" I've seen people say that on the news myself. Not everyone is so amazingly informed as you think. Just as some people will simply vote DA because Helen Zille is white, or they think Cape Town looks pretty. People have lots of different reasons for voting and it's not due to extensive knowledge of the parties manifesto. That is the point i'm trying to make.

Dude, that is what the ANC's policies are about, so you just said it yourself, they DO know about their policies. And housing and electricity are priorities of the poor, and so becuase, a few million people have received housing and basic services like water and lights "from" the ANC, it is difficult to see why they would vote for anyone else.

And that is becuase most of the other parties seem to concern themselves with corruption, BEE/AA, crime, etc. Which if you don't have a solid roof over your head, pale in comparisson.

The point is: its been 15 years and many have received nothing. Clearly they are only aware of vague promises but totally out of touch with how the ruling party operates :/

They received housing and basic services from the taxpayer IE: ME!

In most cases despite the ANC's mismanagement of my money.

Imagine what could have been done with the armsdeal dosh?

And that, sox, is why you shouldn't vote for the ANC - they're to focussed on BEE/AA (they implemented the concept, after all); giving out jobs to "buddies" and making South Africa appear diversified and not focussed on essentials like housing, water, electricity and education. I guarantee had those issues be sorted out over the last 15 years (instead of arms deals and BEE coal delivery companies, i.e. corruption and mismanagement) in the next 5 years we would have seen real change, not the plastering over the holes that are GEAR/AA/BEE, etc, etc.

If other parties make the same promises as the ANC then we will be not better off. Try to unmask them for what they are so that either a new party can make the changes necessary or the ANC is forced into action :/

In most cases its not a cash problem but a delivery problem.
Underspending is the key issue in many cases, not the lack of funds.

But regardless of the ANC promising housing. They haven't delivered. So how is that a good vote?

Correct.

The DA have delivered more than double the housing that the ANC have per year in Cape Town.

The ANC even removed the DA from the N2 Gateway project. We ended up with the housing contractor going bankrupt!

So who do the residents of N2 Gateway pay rent to now?

They should've vote for all these things wayyyy before '94.If these voters really was so concern about all these bad things, why didn't they vote against it,after all, they we the only voters.

That's the problem with many of you lot.You desperately wants to believe that. The cherry picked news about vote for food, vote for free sht.You need cherry picked news to support these arguments.Open your eyes, you can take away the poor masses and the Anc still wins.Your DA didn't even win the majority in CT,they had to go scrap some parties together to organise their democracy.

Did you receive Bantu education ?

Who do you think voted the end of appartheid ? That was way before 1994, We the minority of this country had what the world calls a referendum, where the people of the country decide what government should do.

You where never taught that  Damn, even my 4 year old child knows the truth :D

Good damn point!

Take a look at the FF+ website: http://www.vryheidsfront.co.za/index.asp?l=e

The most important issue in South Africa according to them is the Springbok emblem.
I couldnt care less what the damn emblem is.

Oh and it states that one of Doc Mulders interests is computers.(Anyone want to ask him what a CPU is ?)

Well if the ANC cant supply us with electricity or soon to happen water (basic things) then why should we vote for them? Are you going to be like them and just point fingers at others? admit it ANC can barley deliver basic things. Ever been to home affairs? Disgusting
