Sox i don't agree with you. Some may vote ANC because they have read and understand their policies and want to ensure those policies are fufilled. While others just vote because: "ANC promised me a house and electricity" I've seen people say that on the news myself. Not everyone is so amazingly informed as you think. Just as some people will simply vote DA because Helen Zille is white, or they think Cape Town looks pretty. People have lots of different reasons for voting and it's not due to extensive knowledge of the parties manifesto. That is the point i'm trying to make.
Dude, that is what the ANC's policies are about, so you just said it yourself, they DO know about their policies. And housing and electricity are priorities of the poor, and so becuase, a few million people have received housing and basic services like water and lights "from" the ANC, it is difficult to see why they would vote for anyone else.
And that is becuase most of the other parties seem to concern themselves with corruption, BEE/AA, crime, etc. Which if you don't have a solid roof over your head, pale in comparisson.
