Why should I vote ANC?

Who do you think voted the end of appartheid ? That was way before 1994, We the minority of this country had what the world calls a referendum, where the people of the country decide what government should do.

We fought for our freedom,no NP goverment ended apartheid,no white minority voted to end it.The ending of apartheid was inevitable,your president had only 2 choices...end it with violence...or end it without violence.That little yes/no stunt,which you call a referendum,was only a way to end it without violence.

SA had the best ground force in the whole world during Apartheid. Today I sit here and think what an Epic fail that battle would have been But sure, you believe what you want. That is the story you would rather believe. I wonder why could it be that the ANC has failed at everything since inception. Maybe, who knows. It just shows the African mentality. Instead of being humans fighting together for a better cause, like HIV, hunger, unemployment. Your people would rather act like African animals and opress their own followers so that a few can live it large.

They should've vote for all these things wayyyy before '94.If these voters really was so concern about all these bad things,why didn't they vote against it,after all,they we the only voters.

Was the referendum a vote against these "bad things" that were Apartheid? Yes. Was it before 1994? Yes.

You miss the point. Those things represent government attitudes which the FF doesn't like. In fact you could say the ANC themselves have wasted valuable time and resources on those things.

I'm glad apartheid is over, and it was right to get it over... But people need to stop living in the past? What has happened has happened, we need to look forward... And looking forward from what I know about the last 15 years the ANC has been in charge, I dont like what it will look like with the ANC in control...

I really just feel that someone thats willing to steer the country in the right direction should be given a chance... Seriously, if they dont do anything, vote for a new party... Thats the great thing, we have choice...

But everyone is still voting for the ANC because of what they did decades AGO... They have long stopped doing anything good for this country...

very -ve sentiments indeed.
i don't dispute that people are dying and what race the victims are. i however think you will find most of the murderers have no colour bar. i will agree there are some criminals who clam to target only white people, but i think in the final analysis a criminal's motivation is 1st greed and everything after.

living here i am shocked by the utter disregard for human life by criminals against victims of every colour & creed.

There are good and bad white/black people in this country, BUT looking at this thread, I'm not sure if voting for the DA will benefit me as a African person...if this is what the DA people represent, as illustrated in this thread.

So a black person will rather vote for ANC than the DA, even if they are not happy with the ANC. SAD. If I was an influential person, what do you think I would say to "my" people regarding what party they should vote?

We have a very long way to go!
