Why WhatsApp must be regulated in SA

What on earth is that dodgy site?

Italy is one of the richest countries in the world. If you have some data that says otherwise, produce it. And no, linking to dodgy sites doesn't count. Anything from the World Bank, IMF or other reputable institution will do

Erm Nope, I would not go so far as to link it to developing world but they far from the richest countries.... in fact they had some serious dodo just recently when Greece was about to be kicked out of the European Union so to speak....

But to be honest that is a discussion for another thread.

They are the 8th richest country in the world (Nominal)

And are you under the impression that entering a recession or being close to entering a recession means a country is suddenly not one of the richest countries in the world?

Hong-Kong
United States

GDP per capita

No, we were talking about Italy as a country. Not the wealth of it's citizens. You called Italy a third world country. They are not by any definition third world.

And even by GDP per capita, they are at position 32, just a few places behind the UK at 27

Can we get back on topic instead of this inane discussion?

Italy are a first world country and economy. That's simply not up for debate. It's a fact...

So basically they want to sell the same byte of data twice.

They're trying to force the regulator's hand to avoid this accusation. But it's more a pricing bias based on the type of IP packets moving over their network...
