WiFi - Apartment

I see now that it can't broadcast 2.4ghz and 5hgz simultaneously :cautious: deal breaker

Honestly, at R2.9K it really is an amazing piece of kit. The only downside is of course not having WiFi 6, but I couldn't care less about that. By the time I replace it someday, I might actually have some Wifi 6 gear to be able to utilize it.

Where did you get from at that price? Scoop no longer seem to stock it

The AmpliFi Instant
Same also both frequencies at the same time and think you getting confused with the antenna being single polarity, but it is still dual band. The HD antenna is better for sure but IMO the bang for buck is the Instant

Some feedback:

I bought the AmpliFi Instant and while the coverage was decent the ensuite coverage was spotty. I also noticed that the signal would disappear for a few seconds and then come back.

Did some testing and found that it was indeed the AmpliFi router WiFi dropping out. RMA'd the thing and bought a UniFi AP (AC-LR) combined with a USG

Things are much better now
