Wifi setup at home

Hi Guys

I new to setting up wifi and was wondering if I could get a wireless access point in a granny flat and have a mac laptop about 20m away with an airport card going through 4 brick walls functioning properly?

Just need advise and the safest foolproof solution.

No foolporoof solutions.. but if it's only 20m it could work ok.

It shouldl work, even 802.11b will handle a brick wall or 2.

give it a try, the best bet would be to go get advice form like a network shop etc, look around, ull find 1, get them to test it at your place be4 u buy, ull probably pay a small callout fee.
