This laptop has a port with thunderbolt 4 display port, does this mean will it work with g-sync? Also please comment on what you think of this gaming laptop specs. Also is this a good GPU RTX 4050? also On one of the forums someone said g- sync only works with display port 1.4 and above. Is it also true that g-sync works over HDMI 2.1 with a RTX 30 series. I also need a bit of clarity with hdmi 2 vs normal hdmi . what is the difference?

Did you read the specs?
Yeah it says mini display port but g sync only works on display port so now i am confused if it will work. I also dont want to waste my money if it doesnt

It's strange you asking if the 4050 is good, in another thread you said you have a 4050

Insert the bold part into Google. You can buy an adapter or an entire cable with the required connectors.
I think i might need an adapter but i researched something that said you cant use any converters otherwise it wont work with g - sync

Also does it matter if i dont have VRR as i just need g-sync i dont really care to much about VRR as i just want a better refresh rate

look at this quote i found this is why i am confused guys: "Make sure a DisplayPort cable is being used, as G-Sync is only compatible with DisplayPort. It must be a standard DisplayPort cable with no adapters or conversions. HDMI, DVI and VGA are not supported."
