They don't put everything on catch up, and also the remove it so quickly on catch up. If something played Sunday night and you want to catch up on Saturday when you have time, you won't find it.Yep, that's one of their negatives. But mostly not if you use their catch-up service.
I have a 200mbps fibre line. I have Netflix, Showmax but I still believe that you need DSTV in addition.Affordable?????
Have you heard of the internet? the WWW?
I dont know if you are joking or just living under a DSTV rock / dish
TelkomONE-Free has EuroNews, AfricaNews, Al Jazeera, France, DW News, RT News. I am getting all the news for free.I cancelled DSTV at the beginning of this month and went with Netflix and Amazon Prime. However, with the invasion of the Ukraine, I now miss the fact that I cannot stay up to date with the developments by way of CNN or BBC or Sky News.
I looked around but cannot find any other proper news channel on Android TV.
Maybe I will subscribe to DSTV again...
You can watch Fox news live on the web
Taking your family out to dinner one night in a month cost more than a month’s DSTV subscription. I have Netflix, Showmax with a 200mbps fibre line but to have sport, entertainment, news, conveniently in one place is still needed for me.Compared to what? Netflix, Amazon Prime and a few streamed pay-per-views a month a far better value proposition for me. What am I missing. Share your secret sauce….
We are paying for Wagiu beef type product, but get horse-meat type delivery. Even the streaming services offer very limited choice. So, I stopped paying. The only fair exchange so far- nothing for nothing. In a recent announcement DSTV has stated they will only allow one concurrent stream in a bid to combat password sharing and piracy. In light of this will you join the call to boycott the service or do you agree with, or are unaffected by, their decision?
Is that now on your buffering IPTV?I still cannot believe people waste a grand a month on that DSTV crap! All supposedly intelligent people who only have to do a bit of simple research on the internet and you'll find loads of packages available at a fraction of the price! ie I've been with an overseas set up for a few years now and get about 7k channels (inc EVERY SINGLE SUPERSPORT CHANNEL) for around R700 PER YEAR ! Wake up people and stop feeding and then moaning about DSTV!
They said the only thing that keeps people watching DSTV is Sport & local programming. That’s nonsense, because, 80% of the local content is actually garbage. If I could find another platform to view, I would cancel my subscription even after being a loyal subscriber for many years! Since they removed certain channels including channel 123 (ITV) from the UK, the quality of programming has gone downhill very fast. Almost a R1,000.00 per month for 4 or 5 channels worth watching. In a recent announcement DSTV has stated they will only allow one concurrent stream in a bid to combat password sharing and piracy. In light of this will you join the call to boycott the service or do you agree with, or are unaffected by, their decision?
I bet you will never share how you do that.I still cannot believe people waste a grand a month on that DSTV crap!
