Did you not read my post? I get about 7k channels and don't even need any SS channels as I'm able to tune straight into the channels that supply SS directly with their sports content ie SKY, BT, NBC, BBC, ITV, etc, etc so once DSTV disappears it won't affect my viewing at all!You do realize that if the people wake up and dstv go down, that you will not be watching EVERY SINGLE SUPERSPORT CHANNEL anymore
I'm actually using TiviMate for my IPTV service needs but blerrie hell am I struggling with buffering! Hoping someone here can recommend a good service.Anyone heard of TiViMate?
I've been boycotting them for years. In a recent announcement DSTV has stated they will only allow one concurrent stream in a bid to combat password sharing and piracy. In light of this will you join the call to boycott the service or do you agree with, or are unaffected by, their decision?
Well hello bot.No I will not boycott DSTV. They have every right to curb the freeloaders. DSTV remains one of the most affordable methods of entertainment in South Africa. Only one person in my household stream at the moment at any time.
It's virtually one and the same.Irrespective of what dstv is willing to offer, I will not become a subscriber. There are to many loopholes in their system. So no I won't boycott them, but I will also not support them.
We got F1 tv.I don't have DSTV, and I use a family account to stream.
To be honest, the last time we streamed anything on DSTV was the final F1 GP of the year in 2021. Nothing since then.
And I won't need to stream that as I took out an F1TV subscription.
That leaves golf, cricket and rugby to be taken care of in time.
Is ESPN+ available in RSA now? How much does it cost per month as I might then look into it.We got F1 tv.
Just got ESPN+ as well. It has all the PGA golf, there were 34 feeds for the players championship.
They have cricket, but only for everything that India plays including IPL, then New Zealand, Ireland and the West Indies. Plus ICC tournaments.
So you’ll only see SA play in ICC tournaments or against one of those teams in test cricket etc.
Right now Aus vs. Pakistan is not on, but India vs Sri Lanka is, and Eng vs West Indies as well.
Don’t see any rugby yet, but ESPN are still negotiating with Sanzar for rights.
Have to use a VPN.Is ESPN+ available in RSA now? How much does it cost per month as I might then look into it.
Lekker man, thanks!Have to use a VPN.
Just paid $6.99 for the first month to try it out.
There are various other options. Its also bundled with Disney+ and Hulu.
Disney+ are apparently officially coming to SA in June 2022.
I don't know if they'll bundle ESPN and Hulu with it, but I will probably take that bunble when it arrives, so I'll go month to month until then,
