Other i'll use Bolt because if the driver starts kak i can just roll to the other side of the car and it will tip over

Except in case of dire need, not late at night. Probably OK during the day, or early evening, which is when I do use it.
 
I only use Uber Black, the normal Ubers have become gross. I feel like I need to wash my clothes after getting out of a normal nasty cumstained uber
 
I did so daily for 3 months. The experience motivated me to buy a car. The car installment costs R0.94 more than Uber cost me monthly.
Too many incidents. My favorite was a guy coming to my house to take me on a trip to replenish my gas and he asked me where I am gonna put the 9 kg tank. I turned back to go towards my house. He was cheesed I was not willing to entertain his madness.

One driver relieved himself in my driveway after delivering my food. All caught on camera. I was so annoyed. Felt like I tipped him to take me for a clown.

Unfortunately it is very inconsistent. There used to be a car age limit and specific rules about condition before the company deteriorated into the usual ANC-EFF morass from 2018 onward.

One day you get a barely running W212 with torn seats and a surly, boorish knob of a driver who happily sails through red lights, the next a brand spanking C-Class and a pleasant, well adjusted driver who actually knows how to drive. Most of the time it's a tired F30 or some crappy Audi driven badly.

I cannot use the basic option with the ancient Corollas and the shitty little Indian superminis, they are just too unsafe and as mentioned before, there is the hygiene factor, pulling away from junctions in 3rd, dopey lane changes, etc. People who have no place holding a driving license, nevermind transporting the public.

Get one of these. If an uber driver attacks you, you hit him or her on the head continuously. Keep hitting the head until such time just before he or she passes out and then stop. Hopefully by then the Ubder driver's eye would point to each other and the driver will not be able to speak ever again.

Once done, log into the app and give the driver a negative review.
 
I have also had incidents in the passed ? Is this correct? English is my 4th language, hence the question. It is never too late to learn new usage.

Don't need Uber, have a "personal" taxi driver, Uncle George. 15-16 odd years ago, needed a Taxi for some reason, he was recommended. Since, if the Wife or Kid's needed to go somewhere, and it was no possible for me to do it, Uncle George to the rescue, if they don't have money no problem, picks them up, drops them off where required. The he collects later, and I give him a double fare.

How does the cost compare to using Uber? Although, I can see that even if he's more expensive, there's something to be said for having a service that you know is safe and reliable.

No idea, does not bother me. So never checked what Uber costs, or any other local Taxi service.
