WiMAX N00b

I did read on another thread that Telkom is not installing anymore WiMax - but I haven't seen any official information, so don't know if it just speculation.

Before I went the Screamer route I gave Telkom a call... first the woman thought I was looking for the Do3G solution and was positive that it was what I had seen on their website... after a number of calls I eventually got through to someone who "knew" what WiMax is and they stated that Telkom is currently not offering anymore WiMax installations..

Our management have now been convinced to look at a local only bandwidth offering and I will keep you updated.
