Thanks, when is the official roll out date though? I do understand they confirm a date but it takes a while to get to all machines, just want to know the announced date.

You can get it via Windows 10 Update Assistance otherwise you will have to wait for next week Tuesday for the roll out

Sweet, why do the ISO links expire?
Because website gives you direct links to the official Microsoft servers. Links expiry date is set on Microsoft servers.

The same happens when you use Microsoft software downloads Website from Linux or Win XP, it will let you download ISO: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10ISO

Current links to the international version (with UK dictionary):
Links are valid for 24 hours from time of creation.
Links expire: 10/4/2018 4:59:26 PM UTC

Ridiculously big update, over 3GB....for what!!?

More bloatware and bad design having to essentially reinstall the devices entire O/S for a few sugar coated changes....

Kids who call themselves programmers/designers today...

Erm the update is smaller, the links are for Full ISO Installs. If you just want the updates you will have to wait for Windows update service to take you there.

I prefer the Full ISO as I can download once and install on all my PC's both home & work without the extra wait. Also prefer to update on my time not theirs.

Errr Wrong. Have been around the Computing block more than once since mid 80s buddy.
Ran the update check and subsequent install from within Windows settings - checked the wifi bytes received when complete...was well over 3GB.

Additonally the fukcin install ( as its essentially an entire Win dir refresh instead of packaged or modularised as it should be) took a good while on my laptap which is no slow coach.

M$dof

You are 100% right. There is no such thing like Winddows 10. It is a complete new Windows release 1809, therefore updates are not really updates, but a complete ESD image (like ISO, but compressed with error checksums).
