I read that the update is only a few GB, 3.something.

Crystal Web has made the necessary provisions to accommodate the Windows 10 Downloads.
not doubting this, but I am in doubt that it could cause other ISP's to not be able to handle the demand;
somethings gonna break that's for sure;

Positive feedback... just a pity when I was a customer you blamed Apple for my problems
Maybe this is a silly question (I know very little about this) but will ISP's be able to cache the update locally on a server and route traffic to that server in order to minimize international traffic? Will M$ allow something like this?
isps are limited by ipc, not international transit. Caching locally won't help that.If they can put something in place to cache the download locally then I don't think it will be an issue. Exchange congestion is something else that can play a part. Guess we'll see tomorrow.
This should be quite interesting.
Windows 10 has the ability to share updates with other PCs on the Internet, similar to the way that Torrents work.

If it will work like a bit torrent protocol then I wonder if it will be any good because I've noticed how heavily bit torrent protocols can be individually throttled in South Africa.
I am sure Mweb will also make provisions for the windows 10 update, by shaping the downloads to death.. problem solved
