So for me it isn't a possibility over Chrome. And I really love the Feeder.co RSS Chrome extension as well as the beautiful Google Earth new tab page. Which reminds me that Google Earth's web app only works in Chrome.

Dont have issues with synch
Which extension icons can't you re arrange?
Have not missed any extensions
Actually having more hassles with chromes zoom than with MS Edge

Doesn't work with domain connected PC's so worthless at work whereas Chrome syncs effortlessly.

All of them? On Chome I can rearrange the icons from the ones I use the most to least like I'll have lastpass first etc.

There's many though like Nano Defender, JStorrent and Google's own stuff.

Been this way this win 10 came out, same with changing default browsers in the OS.

I can't rearrange any of the extensions. Are you saying that you can? What is Chrome doing regarding zoom that is giving you issues? It can't be worse than having 125% the first step up from 100% and not confining zoom levels to particular domains.
 
Can’t say I’m too bothered about the pop-up, although it was less invasive before, when installing 3rd party browsers.

Edge is decent, but still not supported by things like enterprise banking (as are Chrome or Firefox), so you’re forced to revert to IE11 for that platform.
