Today I upgraded from using build 7068 to 7077. *All of the builds I use on both my Lenovo N200 and desktop PC are the 64bit edition*

OMG all I can say is truly wow, I have always loved Windows 7 but now this build (which is the latest build, and no 7106 is actually older even with a new build number) is perfect.

I have no problems at all, the upgrade process went smoothly on the desktop, currently upgrading the laptop. I am so impressed with this operating system I can not describe my amazement and happiness.

No I am not a Microsoft fanboi, as most of you know I could not stand Vista and was not that fond of XP. (Liked Server 2003 and 2008 though)
Not to mention I enjoy using Linux and have created my own customized version of Ubuntu. (Never finished it though)

Microsoft if Windows 7 turns out like this I will buy this operating system. It is fantastic so far and I have no problems at all with this build. Did I mention the reliability, speed. Wow.

Wish I could say the same. I installed 7077 64bit last weekend and gave me endless problems. My DVD rom kept on disappearing, when I tried to install games the installation would stop responding and so on.

I was capped so I couldn't get any updates. Hopefully that was the reason.

I also have that copy. And man it's amazing. All my games run much better than XP. Only problem they need to fix is when I unplug my gamepad I get a blue screen. Can someone please tell me if the 64bit is better than the 32bit. Have you compared it?

I am glad you have had a good experience with 7077. I would only advise installing the 64bit version if you have 4GB of RAM or greater.

Did you do a full install (format, clean install etc) or an upgrade?

Aqua your a known linux boy though :p, so any little problem with windows you'll harp on :)

It is in beta so obviously there will be little problems here and there. I think what he meant the experience bar one problem is amazing aqua.

I try my best to not let it show, but hey... ;)

Anyway, I was thinking of buying Win7 home premium but I'm also eyeing a breadmaker so this one's going to be tough choice to make :p

Breadmaker or Win 7.. hmm :p

Yup, did a clean fresh install on a clean fresh hdd Lino. I'm planning on re installing win7 next month when I've got intl cap again so that I can dl the updates for it.

That is very strange:confused:

Had no problems at all:o (touch wood) , for me, this has been the best build to date. Which build has been your best so far?

Reload it again stick, sometimes something goes wrong and unless you do not try again you'll never know.

Simple, format reload.

I won't recommend getting the RC now though, rumour has it that Microsoft will be releasing the official RC on May 5th.
