Found an easy solution for Afrihost customers wanting to upgrade to Win8!
Simply just change your account back to [email protected] when running upgrade assistant. The old IS account still works (as of today at least) and the MS sees you as a SA IP and bobs your uncle![]()
Windows 8 System Builder
The Windows System Builder edition differs from previous full retail editions by the way the licensing works.
With the old previous full versions, Microsoft was much more lenient in license transferral, such a when installing a new motherboard or installing on a new computer. However, with the System Builder version, much like the copies provided with new computers, a Windows installation is limited to a single machine.
So you can only install your Windows 8 System Builder edition to a single machine as it is now licensed to the machine and not the user.
This means that should you purchase a new computer or change the core hardware such as the motherboard then you cannot re-install your Windows 8 System Builder edition.
As of the time of publishing the Windows 8 System Builder edition is not yet available
I refuse to buy a new copy of windows every time I do a hardware change. hell no!!!
If only it could be this easy:

I tried Ubuntu for about a month. There were many good points about it, but way too many negatives. I've appreciated Windows much more since moving back.
I have a solution for anyone that also gets the annoying "Sorry, Windows 8 is not available in your country/region"
*Open Network and Sharing Center
*Set up a new connection or network
*Connect to a workplace
*Use my internet connection(VPN)
*Internet Address - us.justfreevpn.com - Next
*Username - justfreevpn
*Password - 1130
*Check "Remember this Password"
*CONNECT!
Now you will be able to run the Windows 8 upgrade assist without any hasles
except
you need a ZIP code from the US! 11941![]()

I'm looking at buying a new PC in a couple of months (not for gaming) and if this Win8 **** is not sorted out I might just install my first Linux distro :/ This is 2012 and should not involve so much pain![]()

Mense, and I thought I was confused yesterday ... I'm at least ~14.99 times more confused right now. The blame falls squarely on M$. I'm starting to think they don't want my money.
Then another thing guys: Do not forget to buy your copy of Windows Media Center otherwise you will not be able to play DVDs!
