Last time I got a quote it was R300 for front skimming and R300 for back... so way cheaper than replacing the discs...

But it depends on the price of the discs really, and the state they're in.

That's not bad, I might do just that. Discs has a warp but both discs and pads otherwise looks bloody brand new. Just the annoying vibration that I bloody hate so want to replace/skim asap.

I'd def get a quote from a decent place to see about skimming if the pads are practically new... You might end up pay less to skim all around than a single disc would cost you.

They rarely do snap and what if the new one snaps? You were worried over nothing, a chain rarely has to be replaced it's not a rubber belt. As long as it's lubricated it probably would go 200 to 300k easily.

Toyota Corolla 2013 model 520k on the clock woth original chain. The key part is to replace the oil frequently and the chain will last forever.

Yes the rubber belts do snap so those change at 90k then make sure tension is fine. Water pump also does not get changed everytime the belt gets changed if it's a good after market or origonal they rarely fail. They fail because of over tension on the belt.

Mine has a slack i can tell by the noise. Eish it time to replace.

I must get a Toyota, With Renault even though you don't skin your service after 5 years it start to slack.
