Carpal tunnel syndrome?
Either that or you have been in contact with ocleroux and you have limp wrist syndrome!!
Went to the doc yesterday, so I have carpal tunnel in right wrist, and the pain is unbelievable, can do almost nothing with my right hand, almost no pc activity, have to drop my arm to the sides and flex my hand every 20 seconds from pain and muscle contortion.
We're trying anti-inflammatories as a first level approach, if not better in a week (if I can stand a week of this hell), it's gonna be surgery - the carpal ligament will be cut all the way through to release tension and pressure.
It's almost impossible to use my mouse or type and driving is very difficult. Have not slept well for over a week now, wake up with incredible pain every 30/40 minutes, then have to shake arm and flex hand for up to 30 minutes to decrease pain and discomfort, in the morning it takes an hour and half to get lower arm/hand to function.
That's a lifetime of holding mostly heavy books - reading every day, clenching the book with right hand, heavy pc use for 23 years, and 20 years of driving in peak hour traffic, 20 years of doing all the housework myself and there's a torn ligament in the same arm at shoulder from when around 17 years ago, after a burglary and I was terrified living alone on a farm in Simonstown, and in my panic mode, I carried in about 7 loaded plastic bags of groceries in the right hand, with baby on my left hip and arm.
All my hard work is paying off
