XBOX Live with cellphone?

I've had some issues with Telkom and I'm without an ADSL line at home right now and it seems it might be some time before I'll get my line back.
I was wondering if anyone has tried connecting to live with their cellphone connected to the PC.

When I tried it, it worked once but the cell disconnected after a few minutes and I couldn't get it working again.
I have a HTC Tytn with Windows Mobile 6.
I have my XBOX 360 connected via LAN cable. The phone is connected via USB cable to the PC and uses the Internet Sharing app on the phone. I then bridge the LAN and phone connection.

Now this should work unless I'm missing something here.

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

I had my xbox connected to my laptop via a 3g, i remember that i had to add vodacoms DNS servers as a static to the xbox LAN settings to get mine to work, but after that it was smooth sailing, downloaded the updates etc... without any hassles. I dont recall bridiging my connection though. I just went straight through.

Do you have the Vodacom DNS settings?
