Xbox Series X / S

Well, I have a gaming PC, so play pretty much everything on there.

Bought the X-Box when I didn't have the PC.

Only game I play on the X-Box is Warframe every now & then.

Pointless selling the thing because okes will only pay like R3k for it, so I'll rather keep it than sell it for such a low price.

I sold my XB One S for R3800 last week and most offers for that console on BoB go well above R4000. You should definitely be able to easily get 5K+ for the Series S.

That is good news!

Yea it's in immaculate condition, I also have that charging pack that was like R500

Thank you Sir.

For the amount I paid, and the time I spent on it, I see it as wasted.

The ROI for me is wasted.
You replace the XB SS with a gaming PC (likely several times the price) within one year of buying it and then come bitch and moan on an Xbox thread about bad investment?

Look in the mirror dude. Blame that idiot looking back at you. Lol.
My 2c.

Bit disappointed. Thought REDFALL was a Jan release, now I see it's been pushed to MAY.
Still no word on DARKTIDE release on XBOX.

Last year they told us all games shown at E3 within 12 months.
BUT..Starfield is outside that window, unless it's early June, which is doubtful, since REDFALL is in MAY.

So irritated I did some exercise (spits)

Well here is news of the developer direct showcase scheduled for 25th Jan, will apparently showcase actual gameplay from the developers themselves including Redfall and Forza....

No news on starfield though, could be surprise appearance but most probably be showcased at E3 this year.

Edit - Starfield will get its own showcase (no details on when)

Is there a method to share gamepass across 2 different Xbox series s at 2 different house and is there any downside?
If it is possible please explain what I need to do.

For now
Console one
GP Account (Home console)
Use a second account as active to access above's games.

Console Two
Use GP account as active account.

GP Friends & Family plan still in testing: (Ireland)

Selective rollout in USA

Other countries to follow this year.

Glad they brought this in depth comparison out to educate some people about how big a leap in performance current gen is to last gen and how device specification is there for a reason. I recall someone on the PS5 thread mentioned that a PS4 Pro outperforms the SS. How ridiculous.

The Zen 2 processor in the SS is leaps and bounds ahead of those old Jaguar CPUs. Not to mention the SSD speed advantage.

How they can think that upscaled 1440p @ 30fps is even comparable to 60fps with current gen features+settings is beyond me.

Yes it’s called game sharing.

The only catch is that the “owner” of Game Pass needs to always be online otherwise it doesn’t work.

But who isn’t always online any more?

Such poor timing when I've already bought FC6, Valhalla, Legion and Immortals. But I love their games so I guess over time it would be great again for me.

Sadly in the same boat.

That said I do think Ubisoft missing the boat by not working out a deal with Microsoft to be included into GamePass Ultimate, or maybe they tried but it wasn't to their liking.

Don't think anyone is gonna pay R150* for Ubisoft+ and another R80 for GamePass Xbox.

*Ubisoft plus is not in SA so no idea what our price will be just doing a guess on the $15 US price.
**Ubisoft Classic is included for free with PS+ Extra so that might be the reason.

Uplay+ on PC includes the most premium version of each game, so including season passes/DLC/whatever (last I checked) is good value if you even play the hell out of two or more games a year.

I would expect the annual cost of Ubisoft+ to be more or less the same as buying a single base game outright.
