Great news. I wonder if I also will be able to install the games I already own in my Ubi's library, without being subscribed?
I only bought the Xbox S, because saving for a new gaming PC was a lost cause and the S seems cheaper. What I would love on Xbox, is for Valve to have a Xbox launcher, so I can play my Valve backlog on the S.

EDIT: Maybe with Geforce now coming soon, I will have an opportunity to access Valve games

That is exactly how I started back in 2020

Bought an Series S cause FX cards was pricy as F. Couple of months in I bought a X instead of Expansion card.
Now I sport a Series X, PS5 and my poor old Gaming PC still stuck on 4th gen i5 with a crappy 1060.

Haven't felt the need to go back to PC gaming.

My gaming PC has an i7-8700 and 1060 6GB. Can't be bothered to upgrade it. Graphics card prices are so stuffed up.

Getting by just fine so far with a Series X and PS5. Also have a Switch but that was a mistake to buy.
 
was going to ask how is it? will queue tonight. Looks fun. Hope I get some time with it this weekend.
Borderlands 3 is so much bigger than I expected. Game just keeps on going.
 
managed bout 30 minutes. Just cannot get in to Monster Hunter Rise. Uninstalled.

Would rather go back to Monster Hunter World if the inclination returns. A better game imo.

I am tired of batteries and looking for something I can charge and play plugged in if i need to.
 
anyone here play fortnight and can do split screen 2 player ?

so set up is like this

series S - my account with GP
xb1 - created an account for my son

so he uses his account to play fortnite and it works ...

but when we want to do 2 player its give a multiplayer error ...i assume cause his account is a kids account

when i log in with my account then it doesnt even give an option to go add a player 2

please help cos son really wants to play with me and friends but cant
 
Your details on his XB. set as home console. He signs in with his profile to play.
Your XB his details. set as his home xbox. you sign in with your details to play.
 
no not at all.
How we have ours setup at home.
Ater initial setup Xbox will remember and you can set it to automatically load in the profile that will be using the console.
Just note some games may not be compatible with older gen Xbox one X. May have to check that whatever you want to play together is cross gen supported.
 
Tomorrow @ 2200 is developer direct, can't wait, been a while since I have been excited on the Xbox side of things.

Really starting to get hyped for Redfall. Hoping for a few mins of actual gameplay and more info on what the game really is going to play like.
 
Same. Of all the games coming this year, REDFALL has me most excited.
 
They must show gameplay period....

Sick and tired of cutscenes etc being showcased as gameplay, I want to see someone with a controller in their hands playing in front of an audience.

We get all excited then .... Bam... Optimization issues and what not and we playing @720p on a next gen console like what's happening with ForBroken.
 
I am not excited for tonight's event. It's mostly stuff I am not interested in. For me, I think the most interesting thing would be what they show for the new Forza game on the tech side, but even so I have lost the will to play car games.

* Redfall seems like another generic co-op shooter. I hope I am wrong, but my expectations are low
* Minecraft - meh
* Elder scrolls - meh

Perhaps if Starfield was part of it I would be pumped.
