I do have one disappointing problem though. The controller that came with the XBox makes this static noise when the headset is plugged in. The extra controller that I bought does not have that problem. And I really don't want to send back the whole console just for that. Will contact Microsoft and find out what I can do.

I havent heard anything today, no updates to the order status, so hopefully it will still arrive tomorrow as they promised over the phone yesterday. Fingers crossed!

True- I am just concerned that it has not shipped yet. Usually they ship the day before delivery.

I'd be interested to see the difference in switching in between games between the S and X. I don't know if I'm ready to fork out R12k on something that only I will use. I have two girls and they had a PS3 onto which I loaded dozens of games. They played for the first month and then lost interest. I ended up selling it to Cash Crusaders for R600 and bought myself booze and meat when I was broke one month

The game and combat mechanics have been overhauled completely since Syndicate. Its got more RPG element to it now. It gets repetitive as much as any looter/shooter/stealth game would but still fun. Odyssey was by far my favorite.
 
Update on Media remotes (Seeing that official ones are limited in stock)

Rii mini works ok but doesn't have esc (back) mapped on the top so you have to flip to keyboard side to go back. Not reccomended Also Air mouse function kinda useless as it mostly ignore mouse movement.

Rii i8 On the other hand woks well also no flipping to use the keyboard on the Xbox Series. Buttons all work including play pause rw/ff in Kodi.

I am ordering a L cheapo to replace the Rii i8 in bedroom so will update if it works just as well or not.
