Xbox Series X / S

Jesus, that’s concerning if real o_O

2 things that makes me not worry.

A. it clearly looks staged. I mean who keeps a box away from the TV like that
B. at the start you can see only a power lead from it, no network, no HDMI

If this had to happen to you surely 1st thing you would do is claim from Microsoft... they would pay handsomely for you to keep shus.

Yep, never underestimate what people would do for fake internet points.

Saw another video also on 9gag, a lot more smoke but that does not look like smoke you get from burning electrical components, more like someone who blew their vape into the fans.

Spend waaaay to much time on reddit to jump 1st time I seen any of these. They tend to do the "smoking" electronics day one gag on every new product that you have to dig to find out more before you react.

I need some advice, please. When I plug in my headset, the sound continues through the TV and I have to manually mute it. Is this normal?

More importantly, my mic does not seem to work. The headset icon and mic displays but no audio. I tried privacy settings, volume controls, even restarting...is there a trick I'm missing?

Yeah mine does the same. Xbox One before this did the same also. Manually turn down the volume on your TV/soundbar.

For mic tips and headset volume, check this:

Same sht 7 years ago....

More videos on Twitter have surfaced of the Series X smoking :cautious:

" Our current thinking is ... don't believe everything you see on the internet. "

Unless it happens to us or anyone you know just don't worry about it, looks like a stress test on the machine to me...
