Xbox Series X / S

Good thing I signed up for the R199 again last week, son has had a friend over and they've been playing Sea of Thieves :-). Plus still amazing that my old One X is still functional for gaming + the play anywhere for some games.
 
Currently unsubscribed. Just checked. R209 for 1 month of Ultimate, or R524 for 3 months.
Not bad. It's probably a one time offer to get back those who cancelled after the increase.
Wonder how long this offer will last

I saw this but decided not to take it. Screw 'em.

I will play the games I own for now.
 
Just a note for peeps that used to buy Core via India. This loop hole was closed apparently 9 months ago lol.

Should have checked Reddit before trying to load another few months

I'm browsing the Countdown Sale list wondering what is the point of Game Pass anymore.

Do I give MS R350 to rent these games or take the same money and buy 2, possibly 3, at the same price.

Control is R62.90 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider R107.85. For less than a month of Game Pass I can own 2 games. RDR2 is R379.80. Slightly more than a GP subscription but infinitely more value

What is MS actually trying to achieve?
 
Yeah they priced it way too high. There's still people subscribed though so I assume they are trying to make the same amount of money from fewer people and then use less resources.

I went with buying some longer games that will keep me busy for a long while.

Just coming back to cheaper third party controllers for the Xbox, especially the wired ones if money is tight. If you can look past it being wired, then there are some good and quality alternatives. Especially if you have 2 kids to satisfy. Easier on the pocket as well as no need for constant battery replacement.
I list a few here I could find -:

- PDP,
- PowerA ,
- GameSir G7 HE/SE ,
- 8BitDo Ultimate C , &
- Turtle Beach Rematch Core.
Just make sure before you buy that they are officially certified by Xbox.

Pdp, powera and Gamesir are actually pretty good
