It happened.... after just 3 months my Series S ran out of space. Reading 91% on my 915GB drive I decided its time to upgrade.

My trusty 2TB Seagate file store gonna be downgraded to a Xbox game drive :D

Guess I could always remove old games I finished... f it, movie night it is as Xbox will be moving games.

Will be getting my Series S tomorrow. Im so excited. Coming from an OG Xbox One since launch, its going to be a HUGE upgrade for me
I got mine on Monday, upgraded from the 360.
It's a quantum leap.

The 360 odd gigs of SSD space got filled yesterday.
You may want to attach a USB 3 HDD for your 360 and One games.

Doom eternal is over 100 gigs, and most others are over 40 gigs.

I already have a 2Tb external which I have been using on the xbox, so I'll just throw him in the mix until I can get expansion card much later

Same here.

You can move games between the drives, but it looks like you have to use the internal SSD for Series S / X games.

The 360 games I've played off the external drive work just fine.

The official expansion drive is over 4K. A bit crazy.

Its a bit of a hard pill to swallow so I will leave it on the back burner for a while.

controllers can memorize sync! -> Hold "sync" to recall last mobile/PC device (flashing 2-3x) -> Double-tap "sync" to switch back to your #Xbox (flash once)

will test it a bit later...cool feature!

I've given up on those. They start losing their charge sooner, and then it's 500 bucks a pop to get another one...

Are you not maybe thinking of the old Xbox 360 ones?

Those were old tech NiMh, these new ones are Li-ion and don’t suffer the same problems.

So, ummm

Turn on the box ! then it wants to update Cyberfail 2077 ! I say no...

POOOFF gone ! have to download it all again

Dayeem you Xbox and your update methods - BRING ME the PS scalpers ! I'm switching sides bois !!!

EDIT: Which over paid tool at MS/Xbox thought it would be a FANTASTICAL idea to allow people to cancel the update only to completely remove and uninstall the game ! WTF !!

That’s definitely not the normal expected or designed behaviour.

Didn’t you maybe hit the uninstall button when you meant to say cancel? I do recall they are close together.

Ya no.... think I'll move my gaming PC into the lounge again :D

Edit: Forgot to mention the really sad part... re above example, and that is that I own most of them on both Steam and Xbox :(

I am a changed man. After experiencing the Series S for a few days now, it has really sparked my "want" to game so much more. The reduction in loading times is so massive that I cannot fathom ever going back.
I was quite unsure about the Series S and its lesser performance as apposed to the big boy X, but damn has it surprised me over and over again. Series S + Gamepass is really a winning combo

I know what you mean,
Even after my comment re prices above... I still ended up buying Dirt 5 for Xbox.

Loading times even with older games is amazing. Only 2/3 games so far do not make a difference, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Far cry 4 and Spyro. They all load about the same.
