Xbox Series X / S

When I showed the kids VALA on the xbox last weekend, they could not stop laughing at the llamas. They did not believe me when I told them it was an SA game...
 
I have been tempted to buy Star Wars Squadrons but thought it will come to GP some time in the future.

Glad I waited.

I am currently busy with Control, I can never go back to 30FPS again. The difference is huge.

On Rise of the Tomb Raider I select high frame rate, as yes enriched visuals looks good, but the high frame rate is just so smooth.

I recently finished Origin +2 x DLC's in 112 hours and busy with Odyssey, only 12 hours in and I would already rate Odyssey as best AC to date. Both well worth playing.

Triple Pack (R363) AC Black Flag, AC Unity and AC Syndicate

Personally I'm def picking up Enzo collection and the Triple Pack as I am planning to revisit them on console, will wait till end of the year before I touch Valhalla.

Edit: Update, watch tipple pack price. buying the games separate is cheaper. (3 x R119) Only noticed this cause wanted Syndicate Gold Edition.

What The F was Codemasters thinking that did Dirt 5?

The game looks like an candy coated arcade game where some bozo drank florescent paint and puked over. Don't know if this is an cartoon game that wanna add natural elements or an natural game that wanna add cartoon element. Also all the cars in a category handle about the same so you simply buy cars in a category based on its looks.

The Ray tracing leave obvious gaps in some models, and the lighting is just plain unnatural. I get now what the reviewers where on about.

Solid nope not the same franchise... from me.

If you look at it as a "coin fed" arcade game then it could be fun. Just don't think of it as a rally game.

I don't think Dirt 5 uses ray tracing on the consoles. When watching some DF vidoes they didn't even mention signs of RT. I think they use screen space reflections or something like that. Of course, there is a chance that I missed them saying it uses RT.

I also noticed how things are very colourful, but I quite like it. As for liking the game itself, can't say it's a must play. It's more of an in betweener game for me. I am not as big into car games as I used to be.

K might not have but I saw horrible artifact under mirrors that leave a gap between mirror and reflections on say the road. Its like the reflection stops in the water on the floor before it hits car's frame. Might be a Series S thing?

I am downloading the Game on PC to compare. Will take screen'ies later on, for now I'm to busy going "This is Sparta"* kicking people of ledges :D
