Used to use that hack to get some games when we kept getting the Maw in 2019.

Cant wait for Starfield cause its about time new IP comes out from Bethesda to be honest.

I hope so. Oblivion is still not available to buy on our store. Only the DLC.

I see Mass Effect 1 is also not available on our store for purchase. And it's not on our GP either. Yet it's available on GP in US.

I'm currently trying to track down a disc version. So if any of you have a ME1 disc . I'd keep it if you plan on playing it via BC.

It took me a good few months to get a Oblivion in good shape. I was able to get the 5th Anniversary Edition. Which came with 3 discs. Disc 1 (Game) Disc 2 (DLC) and Disc 3 was a dvd.

But DLC discs don't work via BC. So i inserted the DLC disc and went to the store. And i was able to download the Shivering Isles DLC without having to buy it.

Funny enough I have both on PS3.

In fact I own digital copies of Oblivion, ME 1, 2 and 3 among others* and can install/play them on my old PS3 yet bloody Sony doesn't allow me to install any PS3 game on any of the later consoles <--- and Yes I am pissed about it, if my PS3 dies I will lose them.

PS Was playing original Red Dead @ 720P last night on PS3 thanx to you :p

Kudos on Microsoft to bring my 2 x 360 games to Series S, sadly I had an Arcade edition so I mostly bought disc games back then. :(

Anyway back on subject, I wish I could buy Marvel: Ultimate Alliance online. Looved that game, and physical copy not working on my Series S :(

After completing the story in RDR2 it put me in the mood to replay RDR again. Might pick it up on the store and get the Undead Nightmare pack. That was a lot of fun.

Would be great if you could play it in 4k 120 with HDR.

Same goes for Witcher 2.

Ask FPB, they the ones that want every game/movie to be classified.

Suspect FPB only approved it on physical media and Microsoft have to re-apply to sell via digital shop front, same as how Steam have to apply for the same game that is sold in stores.

TLDR: govvament want their cut.
 
“Platforms where game pass exists......” I’m 100% certain MS, who actually specialize more in online services and subs (with a rather nifty and great piece of hardware) would love to push gamepass onto Sony and switch systems eventually??

GP might be a bit more expensive on other systems, but hey you still get great value!

Definitely, but I don't see it happening with a direct competitor. Maybe on a 3rd party console.

Wasn't there last night.

I do see they added most on PC GamePass now Incl Oblivion/Morrowind, will check Xbox when I get home.
