Xbox Series X / S

Odd that TES 3 and 5 are available but not 4.

Anyway I haven't played any of the Fallout games yet. Which is the correct order, and how would you guys rate them from best to worst?

Best to worst:
Fallout 2, Fallout 1, then probably NV and then 4. You can skip FO 3 and 76.

to the chap that asked where you could cop (steal or otherwise) an xbox series S for R5k-R5.5k go check Carbonite or FNB eBucks store from time to time

Skyrim and Fallout 4 in 60fps on next gen hardware would be a nice improvement

Well I last played it back on the PC when it came out. Will be cool to see "enhanced edition" on console and also get to play the expansions.

Still want my bloody Oblivion :(

Makes no sense that PC version is available, yet no Xbox one unless I change my country :(

If enough poeple reach out to xbox support they might be able to resolve it and include it in our region. The same with ME1. If you could play physical copies you could have just gotten you a pre owned one. But i also prefer digital.

I think we should also email support. It makes no sense why we have DLC on the store for a game that we can't purchase or download via GP.

I must say Xbox is really winning me over the last few weeks. I was skeptical of game pass not long ago but the games coming out and tech like fps boost is amazing and saving me some money. I wasn't that into racing games but i've started with Forza, Dirt and even Wreckfest is keeping my attention. . These are games I never would have bought on PS but on game pass its "free" so why not. I'm currently playing Prey and its great so far.

I'm finding myself using my Series S more than my PS5 and I never thought I would say that.

So would you recommend the Series S?
I don't mind playing games a while after they're released, and I'm not looking to spend cash on buying new games over time. So a cheap machine with game pass seems like the best bet.

That's what I'm thinking. I missed the last gen completely (had a PS3), and I'm not going to spending 1k+ on games. The only thing holding me back is:
1. Lack of 4K - I can see this being an issue in a few years.
2. The space on the Series S - not sure if you using an external drive to store your downloads?

Also, isn't there some special you can do to get 3 years of gamepass for cheap?

1. It doesn't render in 4K but runs perfectly fine on my 58" 4K at 60 fps. Internal up-scaling working like a dream. Sure if I stand up close and personal I can see the pixels but from the couch its fine.

2. Old games run off external. Internal space will only be an issue in a year or 2 and even then you can just move them around. I have a 2 TB HDD all the games run fine.

3 Yes, you buy 3 years of gold and then join gamepass... there is a whole post about it here somewhere.
