Nice, makes the S even a better choice as can use it as a media centre as well. Are there decent cheap media remotes out there? All I could find was 1k +.

Works 100%

PS: that is exactly what happened in my house. We sold the Media PC and replaced it with a second Xbox Series S as Kodi also worked like a dream.

But new battle in my house is over who gets to use 58" TV in the lounge vs the 42" in the bedroom.

Oh does Kodi work too?! I need to read up on how to use it properly...

Two big ones:

As crossplay start becoming a thing one of 2 things can happen.
Either it becomes totally free cause of PC gamers
Or They roll out subs for PC/PS players

Personally I think Option A is what will happen, but dont put it past Microsoft to try out option B 1st...

Not a fan of this move....

Apparently for some free to play games like Fortnite and Rocket league you don't need Xbox Gold anymore.

You won't need Gold for party chat anymore either...
That's pretty good actually. I mean I've tried to play MP on PC and sometimes the whole process is a ball-ache whereas on Live it was connect and go. Even games like Battlefield 5 on PC took ages to sort out.

Has anyone tried remote play? I am puzzled because I thought it's a more or less direct connection to the console. Yet when I do the remote play test it complains about my upload speed (2Mb) and high ping (200ms). I can only assume that it's using Azure servers in the US for these tests or something, and that remote play won't work in SA?

Only ever got remote play to work on Local lan

Do get to navigate the home menu remotely, never play.
