Xbox Series X / S

Ordered my series S. First time i am playing games in about a decade.
Really excited!

However, I want to get a headset, seems the xbox wireless set is an obvious choice, any others in that price range or less to consider?

Donno about less but my Sennheiser's work like a charm. :D

you can really use anything and it's "fine". I once used my old 3.5mm earpods and it was ok

Go with the wireless headset, it's really decent. I use the Arctis9x but imported it last year

Welcome to the party.

The Xbox wireless headset is great.

I have both it and the Steelseries Arctic 7X and far prefer the official one.

Buy the Dolby Atmos plugin once off and you are sorted with equaliser settings as well.
 
Has anyone tested 4K bly rays with the series x? I've been reading that it has trouble playing some discs.
I would love to upgrade my collection to 4K.

Only had issues back on launch. Some 4K content (Stream & Blueray) had blank screen with sound. This was fixed some time ago... well mine was, had no issues for a while now.

Telkom currently has an xbox series s for cheap, thinking of keeping my current phone and getting this for the kids rather, current phone still looks and works like new. Not having read anything in this thread, and currently owning an old xbox 360 only using it for netflix and youtube, would this be a good purchase? I'd like to do streaming as I don't have a smart tv and buy some games for the kids to play during the school holidays mostly.

And my current xbox kinect, can I use this with the series s?
