Oh Microsoft could've and did for many many years, problem is greed took over. Sadly having only 2 in the console space will not lead to much innovation and we're probably starting to see 1983 again. The collapse of the console market, as contrary to popular belief 1983 was only crashes for the console market not the entire videogame one.

I said from day one GP was a good deal in fact, looking at the math all the games I played and not buy the past 5 years work out to pay for both the Xbox and my new PC.

That deal ended. Xbox/PS5/Switch 2 is still in my lounge, and I will still play on them, just not gonna sub to GP Ultimate.

I too paid for GP I'll have you know. For years. Didn't even play much B-grade shovelware. Not my fault games on Steam is cheap enough to outright buy. Yet I still paid for it just to chat with a mate still on Xbox. It was a great inconvenience to me having the Xbox app run while playing games through Steam but what can I say.

Besides, every single thread on this forum is off topic. There's isn't even general, news or rumors topics on his forum because its literally posted everywhere else.

Technically consoles stopped being consoles a while ago. Either way time will tell if next gen is too expensive and single entrant as closed garden pc.

While it did get an increase, the reasons its so expensive is because this is imported probably because Microsoft didn't restock any series X consoles except one batch of Series X digital only consoles

Yeah but not to the point where it would be the same as a ps5 pro. This is the increased price with import taxes added. The digital series X was at 14999 at game4u last drop, I would imagine a series x actuslly sent by Microsoft would be around 15999.

I was thinking the same with my launch ps5, unfortunately people want to pay less for that model.

It should only be 16k at most if we had stock here, the predicted increased didn't happen yet.
