Btw original game difficulty is now called expert in game

Also learn to brink guard and chain combos and abilities. You must apply these otherwise game is going to be really kak very soon.

Finally all weapons are strong in their own way but requires their correct application e.g. dual wield wants more stamina and pairs best with dodging.

I'm on the great fly swattor for 1st time...
 
No not on easy. But thinking should have.
When you level up 7 times from dying at a boss fight, it is quite wake up call.

I may need a new controller :(

Yes, well it all depends on how new you are to souls/souls like vs fun and amount of pain you want in the end. Obviously nothing wrong with starting on easy or normal, but the game gets easier once you realise how to play it on itself by utilizing the systems within it. This game particularly expects you to pair one or more forms of defenses with offence and dealing damage is not just mashing it stringing together things that actually works or setting up for outcomes.

for example:
Brink guard -> attack(s) that build on this, or debuff / buff -> then exploit this setup.

I plateaued at the spider boss and have to go and look up to actually play and string together my preferred play style. Also this boss kinda expects you to know about breaking down parts, and broken down parts makes it more vulnerable to damage.

And with all this why I say it is very much the original 1st time dark souls experience all over again and demands you not just facerolling/mashing.
 
Yeah its very 'tactical' in that regard, and rewards patience and timing.
But it's Friday....gonna ask my weekend special to kick me in the nuts.....as a warm up before I play again.

I very much pace myself with this. I can't do these in single sittings, so I may do a boss a day otherwise I go on gaming vacation in another title and come back in few days.

The fact that someone actually has the Series S, but yeah that should be it's normal price and the BF deal should be half that.
 
Can anyone recommend a half decent cheap headset for Xbox? It's for my kid.

What's the budget?
These are definitely more for gamers, bassy sound, big booming, have had mine for 4 years and only issue is the "leather" on the top started coming off.

Any stereo headset will suffice. Get one with a mic so he/she is sorted when playing with friends.

Install ATMOS off the XB apps menu, and surround sound will work.

I have been using a sub R500 pair of stereo headphones for years now.
