Your Favourite Open Source Software?

OPENOFFICE has a good PDF editor. BentoPDF is also good when you want to host it in your own enterprise.
I have a Friendly Stack for running Bento in Docker https://github.com/thefriendlymanual/stacks/tree/main/bentopdf

Stirling PDF is also OK but I do like Bento a little better (not that I've used either of them that much!)

Editing someone else's pdf is always a bit hit and miss because of the format itself and depending on how the original was created - I've never used Adobe Pro so not sure how much difference that makes.

Of course, now we have AI you can extract a pdf into an editable form and tell the AI to fix textboxes, images etc to make the editable form more usable. I see that PDFCraft has an MCP that might be good for this.
