I only recently started playing WoW, and i already have a couple of addons, but might miss some good ones as well.

Any one of them a "must have"?
 
LittleWigs is pretty handy (Instance version of BigWigs)
 
Depends on what you are doing, Omen is a must, Quartz very useful for our latency. If you are a pally, Pallypower is a must. And then healbot. Other than that I use auctioneer and gatherer, SUF, mapster for a map replacement, Titanpanel and squeenix to move my minimap to make it play nice w/titan panel, outfitter on my pala for automation on specs/aura's etc and dbm for raiding

Why install Omen when you have Skada? I use purely that for my DPS and TPS meters and it works 100%
 
Hey all. Thought I'd rather not start a new thread for this. I'm looking for a neat alternative to Xperl. Used Xperl for ages, looking for something new.

Old habits die hard I guess. I use Skada and prefer to disable the threat component and use Omen instead.

I also use Skinner, KGPanels and WIM. As they don't affect my performance, they would not fall under my top 10 mods.

Edit: I have been playing around with PowerAuras but I can't get it to work. I find the mod to be very complicated.

cant play wow without prat, will die if u need to tipe /g each time i want to chat in guild chat lol

Why do you need a plugin to do that? just click the bubble and choose guild or to reply click on the Party or Guild in brackets to reply, if someone whispers reply by clicking on name.

These are probably the best alternatives to xperl. I prefer Shadow UF. Lower resource hogging and less 'fiddly'. Not as customizable or powerful/extendable as pitbull or aguf, perhaps, but works for me.
 
@MJ, I posted this 'guide' or rather intro to Power Auras under our guild forums, reposted here, maybe it'll help. It's for an Arcane mage, but the principle remains the same.

Basically, added under character effects. Click new, select activation by : buff. type in Missile Barrage (for example). Ignore case ticked, Cast by me ticked. Alive ticked. Any ticked. and spec2 ticked (or spec 1, or both if youre arcane for both specs or w.e). Can also add a timer, animation effects blach blah blah.
Also added a screnie of how to config for Arcabe Blast 4 stacks. And a screeny of what it loks like with abx4 and mb procced and icy veins going. You can also configure this to tell you if your target doesn't have a requisite debuff on, by clicking Invert and Enemy Target, and ofc activation by: Debuff. Useful for keeping up Living Bomb and Scorch as fire spec. Also, tells me if any of my targets have a spellstealable debuff.

After figuring it out, the power and potential this thing has is insane. For eg I've configured it to for eg play a custom sound and overlay a huge green exclamation mark when i get Mutated Infection on Rotface, or Burning Bile on TOC Beasts, which helped me react that little bit faster. It's definitely worth it to take some time and figure it out, once you have you'll wonder how you got by without it.
 
+1 to Prat, that is a huge advantage to clean up your chat channels and make chatting easier, apart from WIM for whispers.
