I subscribed in 2019, ads weren't that bad now. Do whatever you please, I'm happy with YouTube Premium.

I've said it before & I'll say it again:

People here know me as a bit of a cheap bastard, I've been a happy YT Premium for about 4 years already.

Why? I consume a moerse lot of YT & life is too short to worry/stress about ads & kark.

I had a family subscription for YouTube music, wasn't that much more to upgrade to a family YouTube premium.

...also, I use an Android box for most of my watching, and any other app than the official YouTube app is schit. I've tried them all back then, always niggles, and you always have to tinker with this or that. Not worth the hassle for the price of Premium.

Had vanced for 2 years (and I still have it on my phone for sponsorblocking etc) but took the plunge to yt premium for all my devices in January.
At R30pm, I couldn't pass it up and it makes the whole dealing with ads thing a tad bit easier.
