Do you want to remove the phone or cancel the data sim service? Because I'm not sure you can remove the device from the client zone.

Just remove the phone. Will either pause or cancel the data sim. Still deciding. There is no option to remove the phone. Will have to log a support ticket to remove it. Don't want to be reminded of this damn phone every time I log in to the clientzone.

I switched from Afrihost to axxess for data on my MTN prepaid SIM in my subsequent single SIM phone. So ignoring the client zone reminder of where I used to be.

I just cancelled my Afrihost sim and switched over to Cell C from VC- no regrets, especially no that their LTE stuff is working.

I sometimes find my LG G3 has switched back to the MTN APN and consequently chewed through my airtime. I've already set my Axxess APN to "default" type, so I'm not sure what else to do to prevent this nasty surprise happening again, other than checking on a regular basis.

You can configure Afrihost to send you a mail if you haven't used the APn for a while from clientzone...

I don't know if the default type has any effect... I haven't had APN changing without removing the SIM card... You might try to find an app with a widget that shows your current APN prominently...

So I am probably still one of the last ones, still using the first badge of Zest T 1 phones brought on the market by Afrihost in June 2014.
Got myself two spare batteries in dec 2014.

So over the last few days my first battery packed up and now also the second one discharges, and charges in a few mins. Could this be a problem with the charging circuit of the batteries, some settings, or it is just bad luck that all the batteries are dying at the same time.

How do you reformat the whole thing, so I can again add more apps ? It keeps on telling me that the memory, I guess the RAM is too full, and certain apps cannot be updated anymore for a long time. I never updated the phone.
Why are so many apps in the RAM it seems, and not in the 8 Gb main memory ? From the beginning, I only put very few apps on it.

It's not like their products are flying off the shelves, especially after the disaster that is the T1.

They gotta make their money somewhere.

i suspect zest mobile may be closed

their phone numbers "do not exist"
they do not respond to email
and it seems they ignore contact requests on their facebook page

good riddance !
oh, a shout-out to afrihost for yet another great partnership

and as for it being a south african phone - it's about as south african as suzie wong in a paddy field
