Would also like to know. And how to remove that Google Search bar on the homescreen. And how to take screenshots.

Screenshots are volume down + power.
The lock thingamabobby I just turned off. And the launcher is another headache entirely. Get some other launcher like Nova that has the features you want (and isn't full of bugs) until such time they fix the oem one. I'm not entirely sure that the Google search bar can e completely removed, but I've never tried so it might be possible.

Not possible. At least not without root. It needs to be "active" all the time that is why it is there just like the BBM icon if you have it installed. Anyway send my device back. All the problems just got to me in the end.

Based on what?
My opinion:
We don't know which of the issues can be solved via software update.
The only real shortfalls the T1 has in comparison is the screen resolution and the storage capacity and partition- the latter which may even be fixed, if we are really lucky (pipe dream, most likely- but still).

Early days...

Hi Yasheel, which Huawei ascend is this? I'm hoping the dimensions are similar, maybe a good alternative for accessories like a tempered glass screen protector
Hey, I also thought that the G510's accessories may work. However, the power button and stuff are on the other side. That cuts out all chances of the use of its bumper cover.
It seems like the screen guard is the only thing that may work.

Try finding a new S3 in the market. Or try finding a S4 for R2000-R3000. Impossible!

Ah, I think I may have misunderstood your comment.
Are you for the T1 or against? I automatically assumed against.

My biggest shortfall is the inaccuracy of the screen, it's really annoying to 'click' and miss, especially typing, even swiping as you'd think you're still 'on' the keyboard keys when suddenly a new word starts. At least it made a decent nav system for my trip with the beetle today, the flap cover wedged between dash and steering columnuploadfromtaptalk1404231889606.jpg

Aaaargh, received mine today at last.
"Invalid IMEI". Unusable with a SIM card. :(
I see some reports of this here: anyone manage to resolve it without resorting to a return?
It appears the phone is simply not flashed with an IMEI.

Hi Wahlburg

Sorry that you are experiencing this. This issue is easy to fix and I can fix it remotely via Teamviewer. Please email me or inbox the facebook page and we can proceed with fixing your issue: [email protected]

Today the battery indicator went from 50% to 7% at around 1% per second and then at 7% the phone died (without powering down as android does normally when battery level is critical). What could be the cause of this? I've never seen something like that before.

Edit: I'm charging the phone atm to see if this bug/fault is reproducible.

We are aware of the battery issue and our tech team have been working around the clock on the next OTA update. We will be releasing it in the next day or so and hopefully this will fix your problem (and the other problems people have been experiencing). In the meantime can you try calibrating your battery by charging it fully, then letting it drain through normal use to about 10% and then charging it fully 3 or 4 times.
