I was happy, but this weekend my phone has died twice when it was around 50% battery, just wouldn't switch on until I've had it on charge for 20mins or so. It seems the battery is really giving crap...which sucks because I got this phone specifically due to the battery on my S2 being buggered (bought 2 new batteries for it since)

My phone won't even go on, been on charge since 8am this morning. Zest screen comes on goes to red afrihost screen and then it goes off and repeats.

I had the same problem. Turns out there is a small sticker on the earpiece. I removed my screen protector and removed the sticker. Problem solved :)

Checked very carefully, but the sticker is not there yet its still soft. Thanks.
Anyone know of an APP that increase the earpiece further.

I just had to switch WiFi off to reply. I have the same issue
 
Call sound could definitely use some improvement, it really sounds like those old can-and-string sounds
 
I was planing to pick up this phone day one but had a sneaking suspicion I'd hold off after seeing the battery size. Seems like it was a good decision. I'll wait until they fix the issues I don't really mind spending another 500 bucks for a better experience.
 
Have anyone managed to get the Dash Clock widget to work?
Also the Android L keyboard does not stay as default after reboot.

If you have apps moved to phone storage (not internal) then sometimes it loses its defaults (like device admin and so on)
 
Latest feature, plug in the charger and it goes off. Now I'm struggling to get it back on. I really want a replacement.

EDIT managed to get it back on, went from 66% to 16%.

I prefer my more-than-2-years-old Galaxy S2 headphones, the T1's are hard and do not fit my ears. If they could source from the identical looking Evolveo Xtraphone's accessories.

Also the T1 headphone cable is too short for my purposes and I'm looking for a suitable bracket to attach the T1 to my windscreen while driving.

I'm told to get a Class 10 micro SD card because some people find Class 4 cards slow their phones down a lot. Will look at Esquire.
 
Has anyone noticed a charging issue? It will charge for a bit, then stop saying the charger is disconnected then charge again. Once it even remained off charge.
 
Has anyone found a larger capacity battery? Is it even possible to use a different battery? I assume that you would void the warrantee if you used a different battery.
 
Has anyone used this phone for phone calls? On my Zest, the speaker volume is so soft that I struggle to hear the other person.

Apart from the slightly tinny sound quality that has been previously mentioned, I haven't had any issue with calling.



Another tip:
If anyone is having troubles with videos lagging, download MX player and use the software decoder. The native video player seems to battle with certain formats.
