Zest T1

I think you just pulled out the two antennae - hence no signal.

>.< That's just peachy. There is a part of me thinking "why did I do that?" and another part thinking "have I ever had a phone that had something like that exposed?". I checked out my Samsung Pocket and saw it didnt have anything like that..... unless I pulled that off too. xD

Ok, I did two things to my phone and am worried I have now messed something up. First, I ran the repartition patch; then, while I sat looking at the phone with the case off I saw two scrappy looking stickers on the body of the phone. My phone is the white one, the stickers were kind of grey white and looked like those "we ship with these on to protect from scratches" kind of stickers. So I idly fiddled and pulled them off. Their sticky side looked a bit weird, so I hope I haven't pulled off anything important...

Now I have no signal on any sim card I try. I managed to squeeze out like one bar of signal on a cell c sim card for a second or two, but that was it.

Did something glitch whilst I was repartitioning the phone? Or was that tape on the body of the phone actually important? And if so....WHY TAPE??? I see that and it is like an OCD trigger. :(

Just looked at mine. Seems to have an enclosed circuit in there. Was probably linked to the antenna

battery went from 80+% to 25% after i did the repartition update.. did anyone get this too??
also, anyone have battery performance issues after the update?

8 hours @ 70%. Not too active on it, I'd say about medium use. But then again, Greenify is a good thing. Generally it seems okay.

I eventually got around to re-partitioning my phone. I only have access to Windows 8.1 64bit machines and could not get it working by running the program with Windows 7 Compatibility, but managed to do it with a Win 7 Virtual Machine.

Aah, ok. Compatibility mode had worked for me on Win 8.1 32bit

Has anyone tried playing with the settings in EngineerMode yet? For those that don't know, it can be accessed by entering *#*#3646633#*#* in dialpad.

Update: Be careful with audio settings. I thinks I am now officially deaf in one ear after playing with the audio settings with earphone attached and a call came in at the same time....OUCH!

Does the *#06*# number to retrieve your IEMI number work for anybody?

So, I thought my T1's battery had died again, as the screen was just black. But looking closer, it seemed like the screen was still on!

Yeah, so turns out that when outdoors, polarised sunglasses don't play nicely with the LCD on the T1...
