Google Maps Navigation for Android now available in SA

Cool. Can I get this via a Update from the Market Place? Been waiting for this for ages. Now I don't need to spend Moola on Navigation app.

Nope it hasn't, at least not officially. You needed brut mod to make navigation work.

No...only via the hacked versions..which lets face it...many people out there dont know how to do this. I myself have been using the Brut version. This is now the official version that has navigation enabled for South Africa. Previously it would just say "This service is not available for your location"

It's not the usual directions, it's actual GPS style navigation (ala garmin / tomtom)

(Pretty damn cool imo :P)
 
there wasn't an update, it just works now. there should be a Navigation app somewhere on your device. I've got maps 5.8.0 if that matters.
