2012 MyBroadband award winners announced

I don't know hey, I would say that 8ta should have won the mobile award. All Cell C did in the last year was increase their prices and decrease their stability. 8ta was the reason for MTN and Vodacom reducing their prices IMO. But that's just my opinion I guess.

I think that's pretty fair, might have chosen 8ta over cell c though.

Well done Giaan and his team

Oh and Boo Sucks to the two losers in lime green! Looking like a duo of idiots there

While I agree that the DOC deserves the Mampara Award, I feel Joosub has earned himself an honourary Mampara Award.

Kudos to you and your team Gian - Make sure to enjoy it, cos we're coming for that title next year :D!

8ta's deals are only available on-network, so that means it is very limited. On CellC is does not matter if you roam.

On another matter: We are a racist bunch. The white men on top and the black women are the mamparras. Eish
:D

I agree - 8ta should have beaten Cell C....a very happy 8ta customer...ex Cell C...ex MTN....ex Vodacom.

Cell C should definitely have got a close second though

+1
For all the crap he's been spewing the last month he definitely deserves a Mampara Award and would have gotten my vote.

BUT
The 2012 MyBroadband awards were handed out during the company’s annual conference at Vodacom World today.

Guess you can't name the CEO of place who's venue it is a Mampara. :D

I think Joosub got on the campaign trail a little too late for the 2012 award but watch this space next year... That said, Dina still has her job so it could be a really close one in '13. Oh, and if there are any MyBB mods about, could you post some links to how Pieter Uys drove "innovation in the mobile broadband space" and made "South Africa one of the leaders in the mobile broadband space"? I musta missed those the first time around. ;)
