R149 unlimited data SIM and what happened behind the scenes

What a bunch of amateurs. It's idiots like this that give genuine startups a bad name.
 
How can they resell at that price? Also how does their provider do it??

If Afrihost and Axxess can't offer uncapped 3G with all their know-how and connections with MTN then there's no way in hell some one-man band is going to get it right. At the end of the day without MTN's backing it's never going to happen.
 
If only one is able to stream using this.

It would be perfect to stream a rugby game or two via supersport when you're not at home. One can but dream :)
 
Ja, if you can't scam MTN move on to scamming Telkom. :rolleyes:

that shouldn't neccesarily be a problem by default, could've even allowed them to get away with things many other companies might not be able to... (although in this case didn't really help them)

for an IT co. i'm guessing they didnt make their own website? nothing wrong with liking white chicks, still, strange choice in pictures.

well, at least they tried to provide a service... would've been better if somebody checked first with MTN if they were allowed to do it.
almost like renting a 3 bed house, and then subletting to about 6 families to benefit from each room... usually not allowed?

He said they are planning to launch a similar service through Telkom Mobile, which will include unlimited mobile data, R50 airtime, and 10GB Wi-Fi access for R149 per month.

Today:

All clients will also receive R130 Telkom mobile airtime when signing up.

“We want to bring value to our clients and build a relationship again,” said Moosa.




So is this a R130 or R50? :wtf:

The R130 is a once off.
