Data should be coming down, not going up and I was about to go get my son a CellC contract yesterday (topup of course), will keep him on Vodacom .
Thankfully - I'm no longer on their ****ty contracts
ok, so genuine question. If your have [lets say] 10 month left on your contract, and they change the prices, is it not in effect a 'new' contract and should give you the option to not 'opt-in' to the new price? and then cancel?
Tell you what.
If I get that email, I'll email them back, telling them politely I'm not opting in for the new pricing.
Will see what happens. Of course, if the package I'm on is cheaper on the new pricing stucture, then I'll "opt-in"...
It is in the SP's Ts and Cs. You agreed that they may increase prices when they feel like it...that would make sense right ? if you sign a 12 month lease, your owner cant decide in month six that its now 50% more expensive, but we stick to the old contract terms [i.e. just the price increase]
It should be illegal to have clauses like that in contracts. It is in the SP's Ts and Cs. You agreed that they may increase prices when they feel like it...
You can put any clause you want in a contract. If you sign the contract, you agree to the terms and conditions. If you don't read the contract, then that's your problem. It should be illegal to have clauses like that in contracts.![]()
