I've been waiting more than 10minutes for a connect to the download page...

So how is it?? i've downloaded it, but ive learned that plugins normally take a while before they start working again. don't know if i should install it now

I like it. :) Almost all of my plugins work, all the important ones do. It automatically searches for updated versions that work after it installs.

That's to be expected since the developers of those plugins had to wait for the final release as well in order for them to update their plugins to make it compatible with FF3.

My Firefox Free Download Manager plugin doesn't work in FF3 but I just downloaded the FlashGot add-on to ensure my FDM works again. The only other add-on that didn't work for me was Tab Mix Plus but I found a dev build on the author's website that works. So life goes on.
Expect a few alerts in FF3 in the coming days as newer add-on versions become available. I'm just glad my Mouse Gestures still work because I can't browse without it anymore. :)

I first installed FF3 on an old PC for this reason and realised 2 of my 8 add-ons didn't work but I found fixes for both online, so then I installed FF3 on my primary machine as well. But yes, it will take a few days for the developers of the plugins to update their versions to be compatible with FF3. I guess the big question is, which of the plugins can you do without in the meanwhile? :)

DownThemAll! works well for downloading as well.

No, it goes back to mozilla.com, which I think is the overloaded site. I finally got through on the original page.

I know but for some reason that worked for me when I couldn't get into mozilla.com directly at all.

There are 5'606'041 downloads as of 11:27.
I tried downloading it at around 2am this morning.... I ended up downloading it off the tenet mirror

Just installed it. Any app that doesn't require a Windows reboot rocks! Browsing seems faster too.

where do we check the SA downloads stats? I followed the link in the article but it only has foreign countries listed.
