2014 Jeep Cherokee

Damn you was just about to post this :D

It goes head to head with the Evoque...hmm. Too expensive for me.

And yet the Evoque looks a lot better. Might not be as good off road but wont make kids run off screaming when they see it :D

The lights are what make it look like a large juke. Point is, it's damn ugly IMHO and you would have to be mad to look at the car, look at the price, then look past its (much better looking) competitors and say "yes I'll take it"

Don't start with this again..... :)

Don't you like my comparison? :)

Still don't know what he is on about, with the racial profiling of Jeep buyers, because it does not ring true for Cape Town... and when I look at the 4x4 forums, it does not ring true for JHB either. Maybe it's a KZN thing.
You guys are now reading other stuff into what I am saying - I simply meant that a Jeep buyer will buy a Jeep on name alone, and to hell with price - call it blind faith in the car.

It has nothing to do with their colour or creed whatsoever. :)

Yes that's exactly what I said - apart from looks, you can't compare the car. In any event, looks and price are but two of the variables to take into account when buying a car. .

So, you've never said that Jeeps are mostly bought buy blacks?

Maybe we are reading too much into it here, but you have said it before.

Of course I've said it before, and it's true of our dealership, however, in this particular case I was making a general statement about Jeep buyers and that has nothing to do with race.

So yes, you are reading too much into it. :)

Guess who has been invited as a VVIP to Jeep Umhlanga's launch event ;)

This is the first time that you sort of agree that it is only true for your dealership... Which is all I really wanted :D

Cool. I was registered for updates, since the day the page went live on their website, but I have not received any pricing or an invite

Maybe they profiled you and worked out that you probably wouldn't buy because of the area in which you live...;)

Or maybe you weren't black enough..

/stirs.

Or they know I can't afford one right now :erm:

Thing is, they should have me on their system as a current Jeep owner, who is close to the end of his maintenance plan. I should be first in line!

Actually, you are correct - all current Jeep owners are on the data base and should be contacted.
