I agree on price - that entry price is high - I will slot you in to a top of the range Forester XS Premium for far less, and it has all wheel drive instead of FWD - I know which one I would take!

I have absolutely no doubt that it will sell, no matter what the price.
One thing I have found is that the majority of Jeep buyers are blindly going to buy it because of the fact that it is a JEEP, and that's all they want.
Something like voting ANC....

Don't start with this again.....
Didn't even think of that. Prices have killed it for me, at least a new one. Especially considering I have a wedding to pay for in the next two years. Might just be my wedding present to my SO and I (insert evil laugh).
Apart from the split eye design, there is nothing really to compare between the two.

Still don't know what he is on about, with the racial profiling of Jeep buyers, because it does not ring true for Cape Town... and when I look at the 4x4 forums, it does not ring true for JHB either. Maybe it's a KZN thing.

I think the Renegade Trailhawk will also breach the R400k mark, looking at these prices... Probably by a good margin too.
Mother of all things holy. Basically, car manufacturers in this country charge prices based on how many laughs they can get.

SO confirmed last night she shared my desire to move to the US. May be its a good thing these prices are so high, so I can resist temptation in the interim and get a shiny Trailhawk for me and Mustang for her that side
